A Seattle menswear store specializing in shoes, Trumpet wanted an identity that was simultaneously subtle and bold, speaking more to attitude than inventory. They sought a look that conveyed craftsmanship and inspiration while sounding a clarion call to men: stand up for style.
A polished identity put them a step ahead. An understated, custom-made font in black lent the logo a vintage, bespoke feel that evoked the timelessness of their craft. Very simple, but very strong, like the brass of the instrument they were named for. At the core of the name—rather than any literal representation of a trumpet—the “m” is actually a trio of trumpet valves, a subtle nod to creative freedom and their “march on” spirit.
