Chris Mallinson is a multi-disciplinary art director and designer specializing in brand identity and typography.
It’s a purposeful-is-beautiful design ethic that sprang from his years studying Swiss Modernism at the State University of New York at Fredonia, where he earned his BFA in Graphic Design.
After graduation, he honed his skills in-house at IZZO Golf/Callaway, before transitioning to Archer Communications as Lead Designer. Chris then became the Senior Art Director for Bartley & Dick Advertising/Design in New York, NY and is currently focused on creating work for his freelance clients.
Chris has worked with clients such as AMC, BBC, MTV/Viacom, The Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Callaway Golf, Nestlé-Purina, ESPN Radio, Kodak, as well as several others. Over his career, he's made a name for himself by creating design that combined usefulness and visual appeal, no matter what the scale.
Chris' work has been acknowledged by several design publications such as Graphic Design USA, PRINT and HOW Magazine.
